Ben is a singer-songwriter who has toured across western Canada and the US for the past 40 years. He is an award-winning western cartoon illustrator best known for his work with greeting card giant Leanin’ Tree. His daughter Jessica has shared the stage with him since she was 6. Tiny and armed with a violin she’d climb up on a chair so she oculd see the crowd and would consistently steal the show from her daddy. She still does to this day. This daddy-daugher duo’s music – a mixture of songwriter, Americana, folk, roots and old time, sprinkled with hints of jazz and swing all played on fiddle, cello, mandolin, dobro and acoustic guitars – has captivated audiences for 20 years. Their music is positive and uplifting, focused on strong relationships and rural roots.
