Farm Fire Safety, Grassfire Awareness, Preparing Your Property, Basic FireSmart Principles, Farm Equipment Fire Safety, Farm Animal Fire Safety, Feed Storage Fire Safety, Firebreaks & Fire Safety, Burning Safety, Backyard Fire Safety Fire Preparedness & Mitigation Workshop- This program uses a combination a 20-30 minute presentation and take home information purposely designed for the agricultural setting to educate the audience on farm fire safety. VDM Fire Inc. prefers to combine the presentation with a simple meal (ie. beef on a bun) and draw prizes to help bring people in the community out for the event. After the presentation there will be opportunity to ask questions and explore individual concerns surrounding the presented topic. Displays will also be utilized to assist in engaging the audience. Whenever possible VDM Fire Inc. will attempt to reach out to local Fire Departments for these events. VDM Fire Inc. is willing to travel to various places in Alberta for this workshop. Travel costs may limit the affordability to some more remote areas. VDM Fire Inc. encourages Ag Societies to team up for presentations to reduce travel costs to these areas.
