Here are a few things you need to know for the AAAS Convention.

Delegate Registration Information

Full Convention Registration – Includes 2 meals Friday, 3 meals Saturday & Breakfast Sunday

Friday Daily Registration – Includes 2 meals (Lunch & Dinner)

Saturday Daily Registration – Includes 3 meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Ag Society Member & Industry Partner Rates

You must be a member in good standing to get the Member Rate

Full Convention Early Bird Rate $600 (includes tax) – September 16th to November 30th

Full Convention Rate $665 (includes tax) – December 1st to January 23rd

Daily Rate - $405 (includes tax) – registration closes January 23rd

Non-Member Rate

Full Convention Rate - $765 (includes tax) – registration closes January 23rd

Daily Rate $500 (includes tax) – registration closes January 23rd

Meals

Meals are included if you purchase a Full or Single Day Convention Registration, if you wish to purchase additional meal tickets for others the prices are as follows.  Deadline to purchase additional meal tickets is January 23rd.  No refunds after this date (no matter the reason)

  • Breakfast - $35
  • Lunch - $45
  • Dinner - $75

Cancellations

Cancellation deadline is January 23rd, 2026 at 4:00 pm – to receive a refund.  There is a $75 administrative fee per delegate for all cancelled registrations.

  • Written notice is required to cancel and must be emailed to info@albertaagsocieties.ca by January 23rd, 2026 at 4:00 pm.  Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

No refunds will be issued after January 23, 2026 – no matter the reason, if you are unable to attend you can send a replacement.  If you are sending a replacement, please email info@albertaagsocieties.ca with the replacement name and any food allergies.

Late Registrations

There will be a $75 administrative fee added for all registrations received after 4:00 pm on January 23rd.

Mailed in registrations must be postmarked January 23rd to avoid the late fee.

Did you know?

The following convention expenses can be claimed through your Annual Grant Funding under Leadership Development, and you will receive a percentage of the costs back.  Historically you have received approximately 70% of your costs back.

  • Mileage to and from Convention (if your Ag Society has a policy on reimbursement for km’s)

AFSC Next Generation

AFSC is pleased to offer a special discount program for AAAS Ag Society delegates that meet the age eligibility requirements.  You must be under 40 at time of registration.

The registration will be offered at a reduced rate of $100/registration for delegates under 40.

The refund will be sent to your Ag Society after convention, and you will receive $100 per delegate to a maximum of 2 delegates per Ag Society.  This rebate is on a first come basis so the earlier you register the better chance you have of receiving the rebate.  We only have 60 rebates available.

At time of registration we do ask you to select the age range for your delegates.  Please read carefully as we have a lot of people just click on the first button for all delegates and then the office needs to spend a lot of time verifying the age of all the delegates to be able to issue the rebates.
