The Agricultural Societies Summit is designed to be more collaborative, more engaging, and more forward-looking than ever before. It will bring together board members, managers, volunteers, community leaders, government partners, and industry supporters to explore the opportunities that lie ahead for Alberta’s Agricultural Societies.
Under the theme “Branching into Tomorrow” we’ll examine how strong roots in our heritage can support new growth, fresh ideas, and innovative approaches to serving our communities.
Farmers Market Training at the 2027 Convention!
We are once again offering in-person Farmers Market Training at this year’s convention. This session is designed for managers, boards, and market leaders who want practical guidance on operations, marketing, vendor support, and building strong, sustainable markets.
Training takes place on Friday February 7, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the River Cree Resort & Hotel (300 East Lapotac Blvd. Enoch, Alberta).
Over 500 people from all over Alberta attend our summit and tradeshow.
The Agricultural Societies Summit is a premier event in Alberta's agricultural calendar, bringing together community members, and industry experts for an exchange of knowledge and ideas. Through workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities, attendees engage in discussions on a wide array of topics crucial to the agricultural sector, including best practices, technological innovations, sustainability, rural development, and community engagement. The convention also serves as a platform for recognizing outstanding contributions to agriculture, celebrating excellence and dedication within the industry.
