Castor Fair

The Castor Fair is four days of fun for the whole family.  We start out on Thursday, Aug 14 with the local Farmer’s Market, followed by our Rodeo Committees pig roast and entries for our Fair bench show.   Friday, there is time for more entries and then judging.  While the judging is happening, there is a petting zoo for the kids sponsored by Capital Power and FCSS craft time.  ATB will be having carnival games and our local business people will be offering a free BBQ supper.  Fair exhibits will be open to the public.  An FCSS family street dance will finish off the evening.  Saturday morning, there is a free pancake breakfast, sponsored by the Castor Ag Society and free bouncy house, face painting and glitter tatttoos for the kids. There will be a car show, followed by a BBQ lunch and then our parade.  We are excited to have Flyin’ Bob in the afternoon with a Circus Arts Drop In for the kids, a Touch A Truck event and then the Elks family BBQ and swimming.  Flyin’ Bob will be back to do a free Circus Show for the whole family in the evening.  Sunday will finish off the fun-filled four days with a Rodeo Committee gymkhana and an interdenominational outdoor church service and picnic lunch.   Everyone welcome to come and join in the fun!
