Innisfail & District Ag Society

A local community based association supporting agriculture in the Innisfail area through education, youth sponsorship & leadership.

A small but dedicated group of volunteers with deep roots in our rural community who feel strongly that the Ag Society provides a vital service to our agricultural community. Each year we organize the Grade Five Farm Tour wherein students from five area schools spend a day visiting area farms learning about the importance of the Alberta agricultural industry in their lives.

We also take pride in being able to provide financial support to students furthering their education with bursaries and support of the Green Certificate along with supporting various local organizations in the community with a concentration on 4-H and other youth groups focused on agriculture education and leadership. Additionally we also sponsor and assist with the Innisfail Farmers Market with a focus on supporting local.
