Here are a few things you need to know for the AAAS Summit.

AFSC Next Generation

AFSC nest generation under 40 
Delegate saves $100
AFSC is pleased to offer a special discount for AAAS Ag Society delegates who are under 40, a reduced rate of $100 per registration. Maximum 2 delegates per Agricultural Society.
This is on a first come, first served basis. The $100 refund will be sent to your 
Agricultural Society after the Summit.
*Important: When you register please specifically select the age range box for your 2 delegates. Maximum of 60 under 40 delegate rebates are available. 
 
Next generation under 40 delegates will be invited to an AFSC reception on Thursday February 4th 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the River Cree Resort.

Delegate Registration Information

Full Summit Registration – Includes 2 meals Friday, 3 meals Saturday & Breakfast Sunday

Friday Daily Registration – Includes 2 meals (Lunch & Dinner)

Saturday Daily Registration – Includes 3 meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Ag Society Member & Industry Partner Rates

You must be a member in good standing to get the Member Rate

Full Summit Early Bird Rate $630 (includes tax) – October 1st - December 15, 2026

Full Summit Rate $700 (includes tax) – December 16th to January 22nd

Daily Rate - $425 (includes tax) – registration closes January 22nd

Non-Member Rate

Full Summit Rate - $765 (includes tax) – registration closes January 22nd

Daily Rate $500 (includes tax) – registration closes January 22nd

Meals

Meals are included if you purchase a Full or Single Day Summit Registration, if you wish to purchase additional meal tickets for others the prices are as follows. Deadline to purchase additional meal tickets is January 23rd.  No refunds after this date (no matter the reason).

  • Breakfast - $35 (includes tax)
  • Lunch - $47 (includes tax)
  • Dinner - $80 (includes tax)

Cancellations

Cancellation deadline is January 22nd, 2026 at 4:00 pm – to receive a refund.  There is a $75 administrative fee per delegate for all cancelled registrations.

  • Written notice is required to cancel and must be emailed to info@albertaagsocieties.ca by January 22nd, 2026 at 4:00 pm.  Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

No refunds will be issued after January 22, 2026 – no matter the reason, if you are unable to attend you can send a replacement.  If you are sending a replacement, please email info@albertaagsocieties.ca with the replacement name and any food allergies.

Late Registrations

There will be a $75 administrative fee added for all registrations received after 4:00 pm on January 22nd.
Mailed in registrations must be postmarked January 22nd to avoid the late fee.

Did you know?

The following convention expenses can be claimed through your Annual Grant Funding under Leadership Development, and you will receive a percentage of the costs back.  Historically you have received approximately 70% of your costs back.
