Winfield & District Agricultural Society

The Winfield Agricultural Society is a volunteer-driven, community-focused organization that works to preserve rural traditions while supporting modern agricultural and recreational initiatives. Located in the heart of Winfield, Alberta, our Society operates a range of facilities that serve as the hub of community life. These include the Winfield Community Hall, outdoor rodeo arena, and agricultural grounds that host countless local events and activities throughout the year.

Our calendar is full of events that bring people together and showcase the spirit of our community. Annual highlights include the Ugetuk Days celebration, Winfield Summer Series Barrel Jackpots, a Breakaway Roping Series, Winfield Gymkhana Club, the Ugetuk Let’Er Buck Bull Bash, and our Harvest Hootenanny. We also host family-friendly gatherings like Name That Tune Nights, the Winfield Amazing Race, monthly Paint Nights, Tea Parties, and Craft Markets, ensuring there’s something for everyone in every season.

Beyond events, the Winfield Ag Society supports local youth and agricultural programs, encourages rural sports and recreation, and provides affordable facilities for community use. Our outdoor arena welcomes riders of all ages through the summer months, while the hall provides a space for everything from weddings to workshops.
