Drayton Valley & District Agricultural Society

We are a 50+ year agricultural society dedicated to supporting agriculture, education, and community life in Drayton Valley. We host a wide variety of events throughout the year, including a Steer and Heifer Show, Ranch Scramble, Team Doctoring, Antique Tractor Show, year-round Farmers’ Market, Tack Sale, and many other community-focused activities.

In addition, we proudly organize pancake breakfasts, BBQs, and parade floats for many local holidays and celebrations. This past year, we expanded our fundraising efforts by introducing a one-cut-and-wrap beef raffle and a bred heifer raffle—both of which were extremely successful. We are excited to continue building on this momentum.

Our facility is available for community rentals, and we also donate its use to local non-profit organizations whenever possible. We are proud to support education through scholarships and are preparing to introduce local farming and agricultural achievement awards in the near future.

This past year has marked a period of growth, renewal, and reinvention for our organization. We are proud of the progress we’ve made and look forward to continuing to grow, support, and serve our community for generations to come.
