Hythe & District Ag Society

The Hythe & District Agricultural Society is a nonprofit charitable society that has a long history of supporting and promoting agriculture and involvement for the betterment of the community. Members of the organization are made up of local volunteers who devote their time and energy to the purpose of the Hythe & District Agricultural Society and the community overall. The Agricultural Society has provided various services and programs with a primary focus on family-oriented events and learning activities. Examples include hosting an Annual Agricultural Fair in the summer season, giving the community and visitors exposure to agriculture through a bench show, horse and small animal demonstrations, trade show, community breakfast and supper, children’s and family games and activities. In the winter, the focus turns to hosting a winter ‘Tree Drop Festival’, bringing people from all over the region together for another season of celebration.
