Big Country Agricultural Society

A riding arena, with a cement area that has a meeting room, washrooms, kitchen, bar and office.
Annual events are Beef Expo in February, Indoor Rodeo in July, Bullarama in December.
Monthly winter events are Team Roping, Breakaway, Tie down Roping; Gymkhana; Rough stock and Barrel racing.
Co-sponsor events are Barrel Racing, Tie down Roping and Team Roping in August; and a Ranch Rodeo in September.
We have people from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba come to these events.
The businesses in Oyen see extra income when these events are being hosted.
There is a large volunteer base that come to help out in our kitchen and bar
