Beaver Heritage and Agricultural Society

The Beaver Heritage and Agricultural Society facilitates the operation of the Ryley Pool and Wellness Center. This facility promotes active healthy living to members of our rural community by providing swimming lessons, aqua-size classes, public swimming, and an equipped exercise room. We grow a crop to sell as a fund-raiser and as a way to promote and draw attention to the importance of agriculture in our community. Other revenues are derived from pool receipts, fund-raising, grants, donations, sporting events, and periodic casino funds.
Since 1976, the Ryley Pool and Wellness Center has been volunteer-run, with the exception of an Aquatic Manager and Life Guards serving approximately 2000 patron visits per year for public swimming, lessons, aqua size, pool rentals, scuba instruction, swim club and fitness equipment use.
