C.O.C.O Plowing Match & Agricultural Society

Coco Plowing Match & Agricultural Society’s main goal is to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors of Birch Hills County. We operate and manage recreational facilities including the COCO Community Hall, the COCO Sports Grounds & Arena and the Grizzley Bear Museum. These facilities are a vital part of the community.

The COCO Hall hosts a wide variety of events, including family gatherings, fundraisers, & workshops. It is a place to support social interaction, physical activity, and learning opportunities.

The Grizzley Bear Museum exists to protect & celebrate our local heritage, inspiring residents and attracting visitors through our educational & cultural offerings.

Promoting physical wellness and sportsmanship, the Sports Grounds and Arena help cultivate active lifestyles.

We hold a 3 day Plowing Match in June every year if possible (on to our 53rd one in 2026) which includes kid zone, trade show, car show, slow pitch tournament, modified tractor pulls, food trucks & beer gardens along with music & dancing. Through out the year we have movie nights in the hall for adults & children, kids days (build a bear/stuff a teddy, do a craft) and also workshops when ever requested, etc.
