Explore Edmonton
Municipal Tourism & Event Development | Edmonton, AB
Explore Edmonton is the city’s award-winning municipal tourism authority, dedicated to driving visitation and promoting the vibrant experiences Edmonton has to offer—including its deep agricultural roots. As an AAAS Industry Partner, Explore Edmonton supports initiatives that strengthen rural-urban connections and empower the next generation of producers.
One of their flagship agriculture-focused events is Farm Forward, a one-day program held during Farmfair International at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Designed specifically for young farmers and livestock producers (ages 25 to 40-ish), Farm Forward blends hands-on learning with big-picture insight. Attendees gain practical knowledge in cutting-edge technology, hear from industry innovators, and make valuable connections with peers across Canada.
Set to return November 5, 2026, Farm Forward includes a full day of expert-led content and access to one of Canada’s premier agricultural exhibitions. Explore Edmonton is proud to support Alberta’s agriculture community by creating opportunities that drive innovation, collaboration, and long-term success.
