Application Forms / Support Materials

Submit completed applications with these support materials, on or before December 15th, 2023.

1. Application form with fee
2. Quality Digital Video Recording, YouTube or DVD (optional)
3. References and/or “Letters of Recommendation” from fairs or Agricultural Societies
4. Promotional package to include a digital black and white photo and a color photo suitable for publication
5. A brief biography to be inserted in the delegate book should your application be accepted
6. All acts applying for the Main Stage must provide AAAS with a stage plot and backline requirements

Production/Equipment/Performances

Main Stage Acts:

1. Maximum time to perform for each showcase main stage act – 20 minutes with 5 minute setup and 5 minute takedown
2. AAAS will provide an emcee for each showcase act
3. Stage and Production equipment is the responsibility and control of the AAAS production crew. The house system will be provided by AAAS, and scaled to the venue used and reasonable requirements of the act. The AAAS showcase chairman will have absolute control over this system, including overall volume levels (both stage and house).
4. All acts will perform under standard, stage lighting provided by AAAS
5. AAAS will supply the following back-line equipment, if requested – Drum Kit, Base Amplifier, Guitar Amplifier, and Keyboard. Any additional equipment brought by the act will be their sole responsibility. AAAS accepts no responsibility for the care and security for this equipment
6. AAAS assumes no responsibility for any expenses, transportation, meals or rooms of any act
7. All members and support staff of the showcasing acts will be given Showcase-Act credentials. This badge will entitle them to be at the convention on the date of their showcase only.
8. Showcase times will be confirmed after the application closing date
