About Speaker

Tammy Hampel is the mother of two boys, two young men whom she finds endlessly fascinating to watch grow. It never ceases to amaze her how two people of the same genetic pool can be so different.
Tammy is passionate about farm life and animals, especially horses and goats. She has lived on an acreage for 30 years, always with some livestock or another around. She was the chairperson of the Paradise Valley and District Ag Society for 20 years and a director off and on during that time. Tammy is also an advocate of 4-H, bringing the 4-H program back to the community with strong light horse and beef projects.
Tammy is the owner of Rocking H Safety Solutions Ltd, a firm that builds safety management systems and provides guidance on implementing those systems. She has been serving small to medium size businesses for the past 9 years in an administrative and/or consulting role. She has 15 years of field and administrative safety experience primarily in the oil and gas or construction industries. She has supplemented her field experience with education earning the NCSO designation through the Alberta Construction Safety Association. Tammy is also a First Aid, WHMIS and TDG instructor.
