An Idea on How to Bridge the Gap Between Rural and Urban Community Members
Although the general population is becoming more urbanized, farming remains one of the most respected professions in the nation. How can Ag societies play a part in building and strengthening relationships between urban and rural neighbours?
Learn about how experiences with cattle and horses can help to bridge the gap between urban and rural people, while also positively impacting mental health.
We will discuss ways in which we have found success with experiences such as the Ultimate Rodeo Bull Fighting Experience and the Equus Experience. Session participants will be led through interactive activities from both experiences, learn about the benefits for communities and creative ideas on how to bring these experiences to your community.
