About Speaker

Joanne continues to enter many local fairs and has been successful at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto and most recently was a gold medal winner at the World Jam Competition in the United Kingdom.
Currently a member of the Canadian embroiders guild Guelph, and as well been a member of several quilter guilds.

Joanne has been a judging school instructor for the past five years and I continue to be an active judge in several categories. I believe in the standards of the system to make it equal and fair for all participants. I also believe we need to keep the system interesting and current to encourage youth participation.
