As an AAAS Industry Partner, Explore Edmonton supports initiatives that strengthen rural-urban connections and empower the next generation of producers.

One of their flagship agriculture-focused events is Farm Forward, a one-day program held during Farmfair International at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Designed specifically for young farmers and livestock producers (ages 25 to 40-ish), Farm Forward blends hands-on learning with big-picture insight. Attendees gain practical knowledge in cutting-edge technology, hear from industry innovators, and make valuable connections with peers across Canada.

Set to return November 8, 2025, Farm Forward includes a full day of expert-led content and access to one of Canada’s premier agricultural exhibitions. Explore Edmonton is proud to support Alberta’s agriculture community by creating opportunities that drive innovation, collaboration, and long-term success.
