Known for his driving guitar work, soulful vocals, and electric stage presence, Charlie delivers a sound that’s as steeped in tradition as it is unmistakably his own.

Born into a musical family, Jacobson grew up in a home where the blues was more than a genre—it was a way of life. There was always a record spinning, a jam session happening, or a band rehearsing in the living room. By his teens, Charlie had already discovered that great music comes from equal parts heart and hard work, and he’s been building his reputation ever since.

Mentored by Russell Jackson, Charlie learned more than just musicianship—he learned how to bring the show. Performing alongside artists such as Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, David Vest, Donald Ray Johnson, and many others has further refined his sound and stagecraft, helping him channel both precision and pure emotion into every performance. In spring 2016, Charlie’s iconic guitar sound was featured on Wayne’s record, “Jumpin and Boppin for Joy”, which rocketed to #1 on American and Canadian Blues Charts.

Charlie’s discography charts his growth as a musician and storyteller: Live in the Chop Bin (2013) introduced his raw solo energy; Alberta Flood (2014) showcased his emerging voice; and Travellin’ (2017) captured the spirit of a life spent on the road.
